The vital principles in a fatty liver disease all work together to help improve the liver perform its function and thus avoid permanent damage.

Always Choose the Good Fats

There are indeed two kinds of fat – the bad ones and the good ones. The bad fats overwork the liver, and some of these bad fats include processed vegetable oils, deep fried fruits, full cream dairy products, preserved meats, and fatty meats. Animal milks might even be bad as well to those with very problematic livers. Instead, choose the good fats that contain essential fatty acids. These can be found in fresh fish, avocados, sesame seeds, legumes, and even alfalfa seeds. You can ground the seeds and mix them with fresh juices and even breakfast cereals.

Make Your Crackers and Bread Tasty Without Using Butter or Margarine

Instead of adding butter or margarine to your crackers and bread, use pesto, hummus, tomato paste, and tahini. These foods also contain good fats that help build healthy cell membranes around the cells of the liver.

Limit the Unnatural Sweets

Avoid eating too much candies, chocolates, and butter cakes. There are several other natural alternatives that are sweet and better for the body such as dried fruits, honey, maple syrup, fruit jams, fruit sorbets, fruit cakes, and fruit juices. Refined white sugar and foods that are made with it can lead to a common metabolic imbalance.

Enjoy the Fresh and Raw

Raw vegetables and fruits are very healthy and should be at least 30 percent of the diet. For every meal, eat some raw fruits and vegetables since they contain vitamins and living enzymes that are helpful for the body.

To make the fatty liver disease diet work, you should also regularly exercise and avoid unhealthy habits like drinking excessive alcohol.
